SUMMARY:We Are America March
DESCRIPTION:CONNECTING COMMUNITY! DEFENDING DEMOCRACY!\n15 DAYS | 160 MILES | April 11-25\, 2026 | PHL – DCLast fall we marched to DC. This spring\, we march again.\nMore than a walk—a people’s movement. \n \nLast fall\, hundreds of Americans marched 160 miles from Philadelphia’s Independence Hall to the steps of Congress\, carrying a copy of the Constitution. Along the way\, communities came together—in rallies\, teach-ins\, and shared meals—to remind the nation what democracy looks like. \nThis spring\, we’re marching again. To reconnect the communities we met\, to reach new ones\, and to prove once more that Americans are still united and committed to fulfilling the promises of freedom. \nWant to be a core marcher for the whole march? SUMMARY:MAY DAY DC
DESCRIPTION:DAY OF ACTION AND SOLIDARITY\nDC\, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.\nThe Trump regime and its billionaire allies are gutting union jobs in the DC region. They are hunting and killing people in the streets\, stripping away our rights\, overturning our laws\, desecrating our public lands\, and working overtime to entrench their own power. \nNow\, our elections are on the horizon. If we don’t take the reins this regime will move their intimidation from the streets to the polls. It’s time to make it clear we won’t accept anything less than elections that are free and fair\, and results that are respected. \nOn Friday\, May 1\, 2026\, DC refuses to cooperate: No work. No school. No shopping. Get ready\, get organized\, and join the day of action. Together we’ll make it clear that DC’s workers\, our communities\, and our political power are worth fighting for — and anyone who comes for those will have to come through us. \n  \nSIGN UP HERE!

SUMMARY:Americans Against White Nationalism!
DESCRIPTION:Americans Against White Nationalism!\nKeep Church & State Separate! White Nationalism is not Christianity!\nJoin us at any point during the day as we rally for the separation of Church & State and against white Christian nationalism and protest Rededicate 250! \nWhat is Rededicate 250 you ask? \nAccording to their website: \nOn Sunday\, May 17\, 2026\, the National Mall will be the scene of a historic gathering as Americans of every background across the country prepare for the nation’s 250th birthday with Scripture\, testimony\, prayer\, and rededication of our country as One Nation to God. From morning fellowship in front of the U.S. Capitol to an evening filled with music anchored at the main stage on 12th Street\, Rededicate 250 will be rooted in giving thanks for God’s presence in our national life throughout 250 years of American history and asking for his guidance for the next 250. \nOn May 17th\, we have a different idea. We ask the majority of Americans to help remind our dear MAGA cultist friends that it is 250 years of the separation of Church & State they should be celebrating. We know we will!

SUMMARY:86 the Arch Vigil / Rally
DESCRIPTION:Join Us!\nWhat: Three Day Vigil and Rallies to Say “86 the Arch” \nWhen: Sunday\, May 24 at 9:00 am through Tuesday\, May 26 at 8:00 pm \nWhere: Watergate Steps• Ohio Dr SW\, Washington\, DC 20004 \nThird Act DMV is holding an “86 the Arch” vigil from Sunday\, May 24 at 9:00 am until Tuesday\, May 26 at 8:00 pm. The three-day vigil and rallies will be held over Memorial Day\, the most solemn day of the year at Arlington National Cemetery. We will use the significance of the day to protest the massive “Triumphal Arch”\, planned by Trump to be the “biggest one” in the world\, to honor “me.” We believe that this Arch violates the basic dignity of those who fell when protecting our country and is disdainful to all of us who support / believe in our democracy. \nOver three days\, we will maintain a round-the-clock presence at Memorial Circle\, complete with a mock-up of the gilded arch and plenty of banners and signs to protest the egotistical and outrageous structure which\, if built\, will overwhelm everything else in sight with its blatant disregard of history and disrespect for the sacred gravity of Arlington Cemetery. \nAt 250 feet tall\, the arch would drastically alter the landscape. It will be more than twice the height of the 99 ft tall Lincoln Memorial. It will dwarf everything in its proximity and overshadow Arlington House and Arlington Cemetery. Memorial Bridge is itself a memorial of symbolic significance. Dedicated in 1932\, the bridge physically links the North with the South and represents national reconciliation after the Civil War. The historically significant sightline that presently exists between the memorial to Lincoln and the home of Robert E Lee will be destroyed by Trump’s arch. It will dominate the skyline\, upstaging much of the U.S. capital’s most iconic architecture. \nA group called Vets Against the Arch has filed a lawsuit against the administration to block the proposed structure. “The thought of being buried in the shadow of what they have described as a vainglorious arch is profoundly disrespectful to them and to the service of their fallen comrades\,” said a representative of the veterans. \nWe invite veterans and all who are outraged by the evisceration of the sanctity of this iconic\, historical physical and visual space. Join our vigil to proclaim and insist: “86 the Arch.” \nThere are many opportunities to join us: \nPlease also fill out a form: https://forms.gle/g1tYkUvbD6zZe74o6 to let us know which events or times you would like to attend. \n\nSunday\, May 24 at 7 pm: We will host a special light projection about the Arch.\nMonday\, May 25 at 1 pm: Join us for a picnic and rally! Bring a blanket\, bring some food\, and hang out with us. We will provide music and some guest speakers. We will also have some shade awnings.\nTuesday\, May 26 from 4 pm till 6 pm: Join us for a rush-hour Arch rally\, when we will greet motorists with chants and banners.\nAnytime during the Vigil: Select one or more times to simply join us at the vigil and hang out.
